Logitech’s Desktop Microphone is an efficient and inexpensive microphone that is easy to use. It simply plugs into the back of your desktop with a pink male plug. Go into your “control panel” and set the volume sensitivity through SOUND, then RECORDING and then MICROPHONE. It picks up your voice from as far away as six feet, but the cleanest sound is about one foot from the mic. Too close and you can get distortion. This is a great way to record sound clips for home videos, practicing speech recognition programs or just practicing learning a new language. There is also an attachment for the side of your monitor if you choose to leave your computer tabletop clear. The mic also rotates and can be adjusted up and down about 10 inches.

What can I say, good price, simple plug and play mic, sleek design, had no problems with it, plug in and ready to go.

The on/off button also a great feature.

Very happy with it.

Good microphone, mute switch comes in handy as well. I can’t really comment on sound quality, but I didn’t notice much of a difference compared to a cheap headset mic I used to use. Remember that sound quality also depends on the sound card.

The mic came quickly and in wonderful quality, no problems since; the microphones quality when using TeamSpeak3 is brilliant, I have had no problems what-so ever.

I purchased this as I always have trouble with USB microphones and compatable drivers on my PC. This microphone gives clear sound, picks up my voice from the other side of the room and plugs in easily when required. It comes with a sticky pad to allow positioning on the side of a monitor or any other convenient surface.
