This is the most convenient mouse I have ever had. I have owned since the end of January and use it for at least 8 hours a day. It works with every laptop and PC, on any operating system (Linux, XP, Vista and Mac) without the need of installing extra drivers and recognised for use in seconds.

I’m not very keen on touchpads, especially considering the size of the one on my Samsung NC10 and loathe the double tap feature, that some like to have switched on with their laptops. The Lupo helps me work more quickly when having to repair or troubleshoot laptops or PC’s for customers.

The rubber shell casing is also extremely comfortable, as is the size which fits comfortably in my large hand (that can stretch an octave and a half on a piano keyboard). My only complaint would be the lack of instructions to insert the batteries, which could be a problem to in-experienced or novice users.

My best advice on how to do this is to press the eject button on top with your thumb and remove the receiver. Then pressing down the button again with your thumb, gently slide your thumb towards the back off the mouse until the top cover clicks open, revealing the battery compartment. There are diagrams moulded into the case under the top cover, to show which way the batteries are to be inserted.

I used two quality AAA batteries in the device and they lasted about one month, which considering my usage eqautes to about over 200hrs of heavy use before replacing. I now use it with Nimh rechargeable batteries that do not affect performance or reliability in any way.

My brother was also impressed by the little Lupo, that he has purchased one for himself and his children to use with their laptops. Would recommend this to anyone who requires a portable mouse, especially if you are a frequent traveller.

The mouse is brilliant, cheap and very useful. However, no instructions arrived with the sealed packaged mouse. 15 minutes followed with me trying to open the battery compartment. Here is how it’s done if you also have no instructions.
1. Press down the centre button at the semi-circular graphics end to eject the usb stick. All the following actions are at the top of the mouse.
2. Press down and hold the centre button once again. Slide back the battery compartment (surrounding the top of the usb stick compartment)with a thumb nail in the gap between rear and front of mouse.
4. Insert the batteries (correct way round)and slide back the cover into place until it clicks.
Enjoy

Nice comfortable Mouse to use, I don’t know if they make a mouse for Left handed People. This mouse is comfotable to use Left handed as the sides are straight. I’m right handed and could use the mouse comfortably in the left hand as space was tight(used the arm rest in my car as the mouse mate Laptop on the passenger seat) On the Package it comes in it say’s Tested on xp. Tested it on my mates PC Running Vista Ultimate works Perfect.
As they say Just PLUG & PLAY
