Brilliant Idea. No need to have a big piece of plastic the size of my laptop stuck under it when this little thing folds up to something you could put in your pocket. My Dell m1330 sits perfect on it without wobble, the fans are quiet and fast keeping my GPU idling temperature down between 5-10 degrees and well below critical when it’s being pushed hard. Even when it’s not plugged in, the fact the laptop is raised with lots of air space now underneath it makes things run cooler. The USB through connector works well with a wireless mouse I have plugged in. When I saw it I didn’t see much point in the blue LEDs. But when you see the blue glow seeping from under your laptop you realise it now has a very smug look.

I’m using this think as a cooler for my home cinema amplifier and it works fine (is fairly quiet) lying freely on the top of the amplifier. But if you want to use it as a proper laptop cooler (with your laptop actualy standing on it) be prepare, that it absolutely must be laid on a perfectly flat and hard surface, otherwise fans’ blades will be blocked and will stop working (e.g. it is impossible to keep the laptop on the couch using this cooler)

This does keep my laptop a lot cooler, and I for one like the blue glow as well. I’ve been having major graphics problems due to overheating and although this hasn’t prevented it, it has dramatically reduced the occurrances.

Excellent for price paid. Laptop keeps cooler when in use. Downside if there is one, I do have a slightly larger laptop and you do need to make sure it is balanced correctly on top. But that is not a major issue. Great Product
