Twilight Jar – Pink

Posted by Notcot on Feb 19, 2013 in Gadgets
Twilight Jar - Pink

The Sun Moon and Twilight Jars are ingenious and rather charming lighting concepts from designer Tobias Wong. Just as jam jars store jam the Sun Jar stores sunshine. The Moon Jar also stores sun which might be a little confusing but it’s because it gives off a soft blue light at night rather than a warm glow. To confuse matters even more we’ve finally got our hands on the beautifully dusky Twilight Jar which also stores sunlight. Simply sit the jars on your windowsill during the day then when it gets dark they automatically turn themselves on and glow with the day’s sun. The jars contain a solar charging panel and low voltage bulb along with an auto light-sensitive on/off switch. Don’t let the sun go down on your day let the moon come up at night and bask in the beautiful twilight whether it’s cloudy or not.

Sunjet 150 Solar Water Fountain

Add some character to your pond, day or night, with this garden-inspiring solar powered water fountain

  • Powered by the sun, a separate solar panel (3metre connector cable supplied) will absorb and convert sunlight to command a low voltage pump and create an ornamental, cascading water feature that will not only become an eye-catching centre piece but also help pondlife to grow by providing water oxygenation and circulation. Alternatively, ‘build your own’ and place within your favourite bowl or pot and create a decorative water feature for your patio, balcony or even conservatory. The Sunjet 150 fountain can reach a height of up to 35cm (13.7”). For deep water ponds simply attach the floating base and allow the water fountain to freely float around the pond or alternatively, place the fountain in your preferred position by using the anchor sack included. No running costs; simply install, admire and enjoy.
