It has a nice solid feel to it which I liked. I noticed it did get quite hot when copying large amounts of data to and from the card. After about a month it just stopped working completely. I am guessing the overheating eventually killed the reader. Would recommend buying a different model for heavy use.

Popped a 16GB card into it and it failed to read it at first.

Attempted format and has messed the card up.

16GB card now reads as 38mb but is impossible to format.

When the card is put back to phone it reads as 1kb memory.

I’m now going to have to try and hunt down the original micro sd to SD adapter I had and hope the card is fixable or seller will be hearing further from me.

I received the first one on 3/9/2010 and Windows didn’t recognise on any machine, received the replacement on 8/9/2010 and this one told me I needed to format the card every time I plugged it in! Seller promised to send a Sandisk equivalent and after a reminder from me it eventually arrived on 22/9/2010 (seller said first Sandisk had been lost in the post). Seller was polite but service was ultimately poor and product was useless twice! I’m happy with the Sandisk equivalent he sent:
