I bought this to connect a flip-ultra-hd camcorder to our Sony HD TV. It was cheaper – by a factor of 5-10 times – than several of the other products on sale and so I decided it was worth a punt. Cable quality seems great – nice and flexible. Connector at the ‘micro’ end does appear a bit tight in the socket but this may be normal – I don’t know as this is the first of these products I’ve ever used. Certainly the signal seems to be perfect and it works a treat.

This does not seem to work properly with the Panasonic TZ sadly. Should of known being so cheap!

I plugged it in to the camera then to the back of my Sony and LG TV and sometimes get a message saying TV output in progress, other times just a blank screen or just the image on playback with what ever photos or video is on display. To keep TV output coming through a TV you have to hold the cable in tight which is no good.

Don’t buy for a Panasonic TZ7! Now going to but the genuine cable.
