I ordered this Cable on Wednesday afternoon and it arrived on Thursday Morning,It is a Superb quality cable at an excellent price. I am no expert but the difference the cable makes is amazing. I use it between my PS3 and 40″ Sony Bravia KDL40W5500 (full 1080p HD) and have also watched many Blu Rays. The picture clarity, colour and sound quality is excellent (even with no surround sound system) and much much better than before. This cable really does make a whole lot of difference and it’s worth every penny, I Would recommend to everyone.

I ordered this cable to replace the dissapointing ‘free cable’ that came with my Sky HD box and also to connect my Blu Ray player to my Amp. The Cable arrived very next day.I was very impressed with the build quality; it is clearly well shielded with quality connectors. It is v1.3c compliant and once I connected my HD box to my TV the improvement of the picture compared to the ‘free’ cable was very obvious in 1080i mode. Richer colours and better edge detail. If you want a quality HDMI cable, which does not involve re-mortgaging your house to pay for it, look no further than this cable – you will not be dissapointed. A Great quality cable and Excellent value for money.

If you have any doubt about the quality of this product for its price do not be afraid. it is definitely worth every penny and some, it has a good quality metal sheath which i guess is good for some applications, really good terminal connectors which i have noticed are of a considerable better standard than some i have seen in retail shops going for upwards of £45. this is a bargain and should definately be considered if you are after a good quality HDMI connection. i currently have this plugged into my ps3 and has remarkable picture detail. i have also tried it on my cinema system and again amazing quality picture and sound.

I recently bought a Panasonic Full-HD (1080p) LCD TV to which I wanted to connect my existing Pana HDD/DVD recorder. Clearly, HDMI was the way to go, but I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a cable that might deliver a performance only marginally better than one costing a lot less. So, having seen the previous reviews of the Pro Gold HDMI cable I decided to invest in one. And boy, am I pleased with the results.
Watching TV using the HDD recorder’s Freeview tuner produces very good results, and in general picture quality is infinitely better than when watching through the TV’s own tuner, with some broadcasts approaching near-HD quality (my TV has a Freesat tuner which enables me to receive BBC / ITV HD channels, so it’s easy to make the comparison).
I really don’t know very much about HDMI cables, and cannot compare one with another, but commonsense would suggest that if a particular brand of cable comes highly recommended by a bunch of other people, as the Pro Gold does, it’s worth giving it a go. I did just that, and I am delighted with my choice. Buy one: you won’t regret it.
