This is a stylish real useable ball point pen, a hidden video camera with sound, a still camera, 4GB storage capacity, which can also be used as a memory stick/thumb/flash drive for storing documents. This pen has it all! ! Recordings can be made whilst in a top pocket, being held, or placed in a pen tidy etc.
The tiny lens is just above the pen’s clip, with simple top push button operation
Video and Photo modes can changed with the flick of a switch.

I received the product today, it came in a bubble wrap bag, no cd rom, and instructions which were written by a foreign national in english. The instruction state that the maximum resolution it can record video in is 352x 288 and not the 640×480 as stated in the Amazon Product description. For this reason I am very, very, very disappointed. I would normally want my money back, but postage cost to return will negate any advantage. The product itself is well built and looks realistic, it functions as a pen, but it seems my one came with either no ink or ink that has dried up, shame. You can buy this product from other sources, but if they are produced in the same factory I would suggest this to be one of the cheapest place to buy. Remember, it cannot do the stated 640×480 resolution. It’s okay for practical jokes etc, not much use for anything else……

Disadvantages
The instruction booklet is about as much use as a chocolate teapot, and unable to change the “Date and Time”. If you need a camera pen to record the actual date and time, to record anything, this pen is not for you.
Advantages
If you are not bothered about changing the “Date and Time”. Then i would recommend this pen, excellent picture quality, and sound. The driver disc is easy to install, without any problems, and transfering footage to the computer is easy to, with no problems.
The footage can be transfered or arcived as well onto USB memeory sticks, for future use. To wipe off all the footage on the pen, you need to “formatt the pen”, all data is then permantly erased.

I bought this item as a christmas present for my 11 year old son so it has not been tried and tested yet. However it came unboxed just wrapped in bubble wrap which I find a bit disappointing and not what I would have expected. The pen is in 2 parts with a small cd rom instruction kit – for a gift presentation should have been much better especially as this item was purchased new.

Great little device.
The picture quality is ok – what you can expect from such a small device/cam.
Great fun at parties etc. when pulling a prank on friends and family.

just recieved my 8gb version of this pencam today, well made, realistic, and good value for money. picture is surprisingly good at this price, indoors in artificial light very clear, outdoors in low light/dusk a bit grainy as you would expect. to set the date just zero everything and the computer resets the correct settings, very pleased with my purchase so far.
