this product, unlike other similar products by apple sold on amazon by third party sellers (in particular an older version of the charger) is compatible with the ipod touch. when using the other charger by apple, my ipod touch’s screen flickers. when visited an authorised re-seller, i was told that the older versions of the charger do not support the ipod touch. this one works superb, and if you care for your ipod touch, buy this product.

I’ve had two of these little units short out on me. The second time quite dramatically with a loud bang. Left sooty marks all over the socket. Not sure apple have got this one right!

I don’t want to risk using a cheap nasty charger with our expensive iPods. Official Apple item, no risk of damage. It also comes with a sync cable (ipod to USB) which is fantastic and was unexpected. This can stay with theb charger so you dont risk losing the one that came with the iPod

What a fantastic little gadget! Does exactly what it says on the tin. Plug and connector cable included in the box. I got this because I didn’t want to take the laptop with me everywhere just to recharge the iPod – just plug-in and charge! Excellent and highly recommended!
