The product is too good and the rate at which it identifies the mp3 file from a flash drive is pretty quick. However the device does not support the folder structure if the mp3 files are stored in various folders. But worth for the price.

Brilliant, saved me upgrading my cd played in the car. can play all my music now. Only downside is the quality is only as good as FM. Amazing for the money.

I’ve just received this and tried it out in my car and have to say it’s completely useless. The unit obviously doesn’t broadcast the signal strongly enough so it’s like listening to a very badly tuned radio the whole time. I tried a whole range of different frequencies and always found the same problem so it wasn’t an issue with overlapping commercial radio stations.

I thought that my car radio perhaps wasn’t picking up signals very well. It seemed unlikely given that I can pick up standard radio stations perfectly but I bought another FM transmitter from Tesco to try it out and found that it works rather well. Conclusion, this is a piece of rubbish.

I don’t understand why there are numerous good reviews of this product but I did notice that the majority of the reviwers have only ever made a single review which lead me to believe they may have been made by the manufacturer.

So far I’ve only used the August CR100 with my Sony MP3 player attached but I’ve been very pleased with the sound quality, signal strength & ease of use. For me the remote control is a bit pointless as I’m generally the driver (I’ve found it’s easier to control it from the drivers seat without using the remote control anyway) but I imagine it is very useful if you have passengers in the back who want to choose what to listen to next.

Overall I think this item is excellent for the money & is certainly the best FM transmitter I’ve owned…..so far!!
