This product does what you would expect it to do – a 6-way surge protector with 3m Cable. However, the plug sockets are quite close together so if you have an oversized plug (such as for an Ikea table light) then the plug will overlap the next socket meaning you can’t use 1 of the sockets.

So if you have standard plugs then this won’t bother you. But if you have many oversized plugs then you might want to consider another product with more spacing between sockets.

Belkin 6-Way Economy Surge Protector, 3m Cable

As indicated by the title, the only way I’ll find out if this ‘surge’ protector works is if a surge occurs. The six electric sockets all work just fine so to all intents and purposes this Belkin product is certainly worth the money. Should a dreaded surge visit itself upon me some time in the future, I shall be in a position to complete this review.

These are great surge protectors because of the 3m cable and they were not expensive either. The sockets are on a neat slim bracket.
