I am sure this is a good product but it doesn’t work too well in my car. The arial in my car isn’t brilliant so there always seem to be a hiss in quiet bits of music. Also I sometimes knock it when I change gear and inadvertantly turn the ipod off. On top of that the gear stick sometimes obscures the unit so I can’t see the frequency it wants you to select. I saw the same product in Currys and it said not compatible with the new generation ipod – no idea why – I just used the thickest pad (of the many supplied with it) to stop the ipod rattling in the holder. It fits snuggly but I have to take the leather case off. Think I’ll have to buy a new car with an ipod socket!

I looked at so much feedback on this item before ordering it as previous items like this that my family & I have bought have been awful and a complete waste of money.

There were a few bad reviews for this item, so I looked on the internet as a whole for some expert reviews. These were really positive so I thought I’d give it a go!

I have to admit, it supassed my expectations – so easy to use & comes with every possible cradle to fit every single ipod on the market.

It ‘does what it says on the tin’, hit the clear scan button and it finds you the best signal to tune your radio into. It sometimes takes a while to scan, but when it gives you a frequency to tune into, the sound is pretty amazing! It does come across a lot quieter than the radio or CD so you do have to turn it up but the sound is clear and up to the standard you would expect from an ipod! I absolutely love it and I haven’t used the radio or CD player since! It also charges your ipod which is a great bonus!

Just remember to turn your radio down when you turn it off otherwise when you get back into your car it will blow your ears out!

I can totally recommend this product as I have genuinely had a brilliant experience with it!

If you choose to buy it – enjoy!!!

Works well. Wish it had ability to select FM wavelength rather than those offered by the equipment.

This item is perfect for someone whose car does not have an AUX connection unit to the radio. It works in any car (mine is a 2003 Ford Focus) as long as it has an in-car two power port /cigar lighter fit ring and works for my I-pod nano 4th generation. I would say that it is 90-95% clear as a CD (dependant on normal conditions). Also, having it perched up high makes it easy to navigate the I-pod when driving. I have gave this 4 stars because it sometimes rattles and you have to move/twist it about to stop it rattling and I would’ve gave it 5 stars if the quality of it was 100% and the rattling did not occur 5-10% of the time. But all prejudice aside, if you don’t want the cost of having to get someone to make a manual AUX connection to the back of your radio, this is perfect for you as it plays the music to a very satisfactory quality/standard.

Very expensive for what it is, looks good, good at holding and charging various Ipods, quick scan a good idea but seems to need re-tuning every couple of minutes in urban areas and doesn’t seem to locate empty band, not helped by too many chavy pirate radio stations interfering. There are not enough memory presets (only 2). A bit awkward in center console socket on ford focus. May be better to buy a cheaper alternative.
