Works great with my mac and bus-powered hard drive. Would like to see it in shorter lengths, though. Belkin staff very helpful on their support line.

insufficient information to determine whether it was the cable i needed. For an idiot like me a clear picture/ or diagram of the connector would have helped.

Fortunately was the right one and worked well.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Good quality cable and worked first time. No problems. Good length (for me anyway). Used it as a stand alone cable and as part of a chain of FireWire devices with no problems. A no brainer.
