I just received this little USB charger plug today. I chose this after some searching on the market, because I wanted a small plug, so that I didn’t have to take it out in order to close the ash tray.
This is a perfect match for my VW Lupo 3L. It fits perfectly, and there is no doubt there is perfect electrical contact. The adapter also appears to be quite energy-efficient. Contrary to most of my other original phone chargers, this does not get warm at all, despite being able to deliver 1A at 5V USB power.
As other points out, the LED is green, not blue, as indicated in the picture.

Bought this little adapter for my iPhone and iPod on the move in my car on a recommendation from a friend.
It is discrete in the socket and works 100% in the family Zafira and Focus with no issues.
The light is green not blue as in the picture, not that it matters!!

Compact, hides away in the lighter socket in a BMW 535d and works a treat…

This works well enough but does not fit the socket of some cars like eg Citroen C4 and derivatives

Good product and does exactly what you’d expect. Only gripe would be that I was hoping it would sit flush with the socket in my VW Golf but it sticks up 2 or 3mm. Having said that it is still far smaller then anything else I could find on the market.
