This dock is a stylish way to stand and charge your Blackberry. The front logo lights up white when you’re charging!

The product is well made and feels robust. Your existing Blackberry travel charger plugs into the back of the dock and the Blackberry charges via the two metal contacts as shown in the photo.

Overall – an excellent buy!

A great little bit of quality kit. It does exacley what it says on the box.

The curve sits easily in the cradle without any need to press down or click-in, just simply stands there and receives a charge. The unit has a good quality non slip base and has a neat glowing BB icon on the front that illuminates as soon as the PC is powered up. (despite other reviews, this light is not IMO too bright or annoying)

Points to note

The unit has an internal light (on the inside rim of the unit) which makes docking in the dark (or low light) a breeze, as it literally “lights the way”, when docked this light cannot be seen, when un-docked it provides a neat little smile to brighten your day!

The unit does not provide a true “connection” to your PC, although it does use the same USb cable that your BB comes with, it is not “bi-centronic” and will not communicate with the PC and allow transfer of software or images/music etc. In this respect the docking cradle acts only as a charger, to communicate simply unplug the cradle and link the cable directly to the BB…simple as.

However, when docked the BB wotks just as it would normally as it syncs email/calender/texts wirelessly with your PC as you would expect.

For extra style points, down-load the BBlight plugin and the Blackerry will sit in the cradle and light up all day long, then when you pick the BB up, the backlight operates in standard mode and switches of at the pre-determined time to save battery wear.

You do not need any peripheral kit, just plug the USB into the pc and the other end into the rear of the cradle where you would otherwise plug the BB (ensure it cliks in) when the unit lights up…your good to go!

Its a nice solid unit and is kind of heavy (for such a small thing) which ads to the feel of solidity and quality.

Nothing bad to tell you would highly recommend the unit

One of those items that adds that bit extra to an already superb product, (Blackberry Curve 8320. A talking point in the office as well.

Unlike other “genuine” Blackberry accessories I have bought, this is the real thing. An original Blackberry accessory that is beautifully designed and beautifully made. I have owned a Blackberry 8310 for well over a year and I just wish I had found this device earlier. It’s surprising how much difference this simple, elegant accessory makes. I no longer miss calls while I fumble to get my Blackberry out of the case on my belt or while I look for it under piles of paper on my desk or while I try to disconnect the charging cable …. and I no longer get to the end of the day and find my Blackberry battery alomst exhausted because I forgot to plug in the USB cable. I just pop the Blackberry in the pod and it sits there looking elegant, always available if I get a call, always charged and easy to grab in a second if I have to leave my desk. I now have a lot of jealous colleagues. In summary, a perfect accessory in every respect. Definitely 5-stars. I would give it 6 if I could!
