Having bought a cheap imitation case originally, actually only half the price of this real one, I really appreciated the quality and snug fit of this genuine case. The camera fits well in the case and using the belt loop is easy to get in and out as required.
Don’t buy the cheap imitation, it’s a great camera and deserves a great case!

This camera case is excellent. Do not buy any of the cheaper alternatives which may be made of good leather but are unlikely to be a good snug fit.

Bought this to replace a non-Canon hard case which I had returned as not satisfactory. This case is a very snug fit for the camera yet allows easy removal & replacement of the camera. The case is of high aesthetic quality & is compact so does not bulk up the package size unlike the hard case I had tried out. My only criticism is that there is no pocket or space to hold a spare battery which would have been useful hence the four stars.
