Received the product in a few days, as promised. It lives up to the specification I am getting 4 hours plus usage from my new Dell battery. Excellent value for money compared to a new battery from the Dell website and at the moment looking just as good/better.

I will definitely use this company again if in the market for a new bettery etc.

One day suddenly my computer stopped recognising the battery. OK, it might have been my fault because my laptop was always plugged having the battery on. So I kind of damaged it. I wanted to get a new one, so my first attempt was to go to the dell website and order one. They would cost about £100. I did not want to get this as I had paid aboput £300 to get the laptop (it was on offer!). So, I visited amazon.co.uk and found this almost half the price. It was brand new and it is working perfectly fine. But now I have learned my lesson and when I have my laptop plugged I always remove the battery.

The battery does appear to be a genuine Dell battery. It arrived quickly and it’s a perfect replacement. Very good value at the price.

I’d question how ‘genuine’ this battery is – the quality of the type etc on this battery is nowhere near the quality of the original Dell battery that came with my laptop, and is practically illegible (a sign of lookalikes I’ve read). It seems to do the job, though I don’t rely on a battery that often. My laptop isn’t that new, but beware warranty invalidation using a potentially non-genuine battery if you have a state of the art machine. (I’d never have bothered before but my new Canon camera is very clear on that, don’t know if Dell are the same.)

I looked through the web for a reliable place to buy a Dell battery replacement, but found none except the official Dell UK website which had very high prices.

I looked through Amazon and finally found it, bought one and could never been any more satisfied. An actual genuine battery that doesn’t die after one month. I’ve been using it for 4 months already and it still works fine.
