This is basically a low budget horror where a few new zealanders decided to blow the whole budget on hiring the only 3 New zealanders anyone has heard of to appear in their film, thus gving it publicity and selling some dvds they would NOT otherwise have sold. Its a very mildly amusing horror – the comedic moments were missed if you blink as they are so few and far between. Sean of the dead it is not. The reviews on the cover are as much of a lie as the reviews on the cover of ‘east is east’ dvd – which says ‘hilarious’ on it (one of the most untrue statements ever uttered or so i thought until now). Haha, the only thing hilarious about ‘diagnosis:death’ is the tag-line on the dvd cover itself!! The actors from flight of…only play tiny bit parts so be warned! This is NOT a FOTC film at all. It’s either their mates from college or a favour or as I guessed earlier the main bulk of budget for the film was given to them to attract viewers. Well, i want you all to NOT buy this piece of rubbish, please save you money. It’s a bit liek a not very good garth merengie. Just buy Garth merengie’s darkplace instead, and you’ll actually get a laugh for your wonga.

I bought this dvd as a present and felt the need to apologise to the recipient after watching the film with them. I would have enjoyed this if it was on TV for free, but it’s defiitely NOT worth owning the dvd. I’ll never want to see it again, thats for sure. I wish comedians would stop conning us all into seeing things they’re in, if they didn’t appear in such piffle we might not have to complain ( russel brand – you know what i’m on about)

As someone who has seen both Plan 9 From Outer Space and Lesbian Vampire Killers I do not award this film the title of “worst film of all time” lightly. However, unlike Plan 9 or LVK it is completely devoid of any of the ingrediants essential for a horror film i.e It isn’t scary! either psychologically or visually, and to compare it to Shaun Of The Dead is just plain misleading! Low budget horror films can be both funny and scary and can work on several levels…..but this isn’t one of them. Avoid at all costs

As a huge fan of FOTC and Shawn of the dead I was excited about getting this film.

What a huge disapointment! Please don’t think for one minute you will be laughing outloud or clutching a pillow!

I think I should have spent a bit extra and got FOTC series 2!

We had a great time watching this film. It’s not only laugh out loud funny but has moments that made us all jump with fright.

As a huge Flight of the Conchords fan I was so excited to see Diagnosis Death, and the big screen debut from the guys doesn’t disappoint.

Taking its cue from fellow Kiwi Peter Jackson’s early films such as Bad Taste and Braindead, mixing humour with over-the-top gore and scares, Diagnosis Death succeeds on all levels.

If you’re a fan of FOTC or films like Shaun of the Dead, you’ll love this.
