Going to keep this simple. Was a bit unsure due to the size, read the reviews on Amazon which were mainly positive, saw the price and thought what the hell. I’m using this on my desk top computer (upstairs) with a Netgear Range Max Next “n” type router (downstairs). Works perfectly, 100% satisfied!!

I have just installed it on my son’s computer to link with DLink N router. Manual and Instructions are inadequate. The wizard failed and the adaptor would not recognize my router. I installed and reinstalled with no avail. Finally I downlaoded the latest driver. After connecting the adaptor again I used the setup utility in the download file. It installed correctly but the edimax icon at the bottom said utility not installed. Once I disconnected the adaptor and reconnected (probably an important step of setup not mentioned in the manual or the wizard) it worked like dream. The rest of the process was simple. The connection speed is unbelievable at 135mg/s and broadband speed test indicated download speed increased from 7-8 MB/S to over 20MB/S. I have the excellent virgin 50MB speed hence the high speeds. Hope this helps. I will be buying few more of these. Can’t go wrong with this price. Also I will try to the high gain one for the upstairs computer.

Finally I have found my perfect adapter!

After breaking my second adapter, I was fed up with these huge things that I was constantly snagging when I used my laptop. So, I started to look around for a smaller one, and this is it!

Does the job perfectly, it was set up and ready to go in about five minutes, which just involved you putting the in installation CD.

I cant believe how tiny it is! I have had it for a few weeks now, and have always connected fast and easily.

Would certainly recommend it!

Got this working straight away on my laptop (a pretty old Dell Inspiron). No drivers needed, it found my new Belkin n router without much hassle and the throughput is really good. Worked with the kids PC as well. It already had a edimax 802.11g pci card installed, but you can tell difference with the ndraft stuff using this little adapter. 10/10

Very impressed with this adapter. Installed it and it worked straight away on my Vista upgraded PC. It has managed to keep a constant connection with no drop outs. I’m using the Netgear DGHN2K router. Have purchased a number of other USB adapters from other vendors in the past and most have caused me no-end of problems but so far this has been superb. Big benefit in the size for the PC, none of the usual large sticky out nonsense from other makes. Plugged in into my XPSP2 o/s Acer One netbook and worked perfectly, again no bulky sticking out pcb to potential snap off either. Excellent, will be buying a second one for the netbook.
