This is a great skin. I have it in hot pink also. I have skins not to protect the phone, but to make them visible or more easily located by touch when I am searching in my bag. My previous BB Pearl fell on the airplane floor, out of my pocket in the cab seat, etc. until finally I lost it for GOOD. So the skin is good for that. The blue of this is translucent so it is not as vivid as the pink. If that doesn’t bother you or is actually what you’re looking for, this is a fine case. A mid point between rubbery and slick, it doesn’t slide easily on hard surfaces. It allows easy use of the lock and mute/standby button on the top, and the side buttons and ports (in contrast with the skin for the Bold 9000 by emartbuy which is harder to use). Given the price, I think it’s the best option for the Bold 9700 available so far.

this is a great skin to protect your blackberry – a great fit and easier to use than that pouch you get with it. i didn’t use the screen protector though, just the silicon skin. i dropped my bb on a tiled floor and because of the case it just bounced about! no damage at all. colour great too.
