I got one of these cases for a Canon Powershot S80 back in 2006 and it has steadfastly accompanied me whenever I take the camera out and about. I have a larger camera case which admittedly never leaves the house – why bother when this GEM can carry not only the camera, but also a couple of extra batteries and a small handful of SD cards in the front pocket. In the main compartment for the camera I found room to slot in a lens cleaning pen, and on the back I have a Joby Gorillapod held in place by the belt strap (I carry the case using the supplied shoulder strap).
The case is soft but very compact, it easily protects the camera from shocks and the number of times that water has splashed on the case I can confirm that at the very least it is resistant to water. Its economical size makes it a perfect companion for travel.
When I get a new compact soon (got my eyes on a Lumix TZ7), I am going to get another one of these cases – indispensable!

I bought this camera case for my new Panasonic TZ7. I looked around and couldn’t find anything that would do the job and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Having finally found this case I am so pleased with it. The camera is well protected and there is sufficient room in the front pocket for spare batteries and sd cards. Best of all it does what it says and is CHEAP.

I got this for my Panasonic Lumix 3 after trapsing round Currys, John Lewis, Jessops, and PC World and failing to find the right case.
But this is a perfect fit – the camera doesn’t rattle around, and it isn’t too tight. I can wear it on my belt, and the small front compartment is ideal for spare battery, card, and cleaning tissues.

This is a cleverly designed, sturdy, very protective camera case for the Panasonic TZ7, which fits it perfectly. Of particular note is that the camera is separated from the zip when it is being lifted in and out of the case GEM Anti-Shock Camera Case for Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ6, DMC-TZ7, DMC-ZS1, DMC-ZS3 by the width of the padding, thus no danger of scratching my beautiful camera.
