Not a bad printer. Not as straightforward to install as some, but not as impossible as others I’ve come across, except for its insistance that my priority will be sending Faxes – how quaint can you get,I haven’t sent or received a FAX for several years.

This is the worst printer that I have ever owned and ensures that it will be the last HP printer I ever do own. I waste more ink and paper than actually gets to be used on anything usable. It prints any section of the actual document in any place on the paper it likes, and when it does behave it only works printing documents singly rather than when you want more than one copy. Set up wirelessly, or even by USB, is unnecessarily complicated. The price indicates the problems. Avoid like the plague.

Absolutely impossible to set up wirelessly! I spent 3 hours and finally got it working on 1 of the 3 pc’s I attempted to get it to work with! I went to actually use it later on and suprise suprise it didn’t work again! The support and trouble shooting is irrelevant, and sends you round in circles, or just doesn’t even bother to actaully explain how to do any of the ‘solutions’ it suggests! It tells you when it wont connect that it could be one of many problems, but only tells you what one of those is, which no surprises, is definately not what is causing the problem!

Don’t waste your money on buying rubbish like this, buy a dell equivelent, my mum and dad got one and it was literally plug and go, but wireless obviously! =P

All in all if i hadn’t already opened everything and set it up with the cartridges, I would be taking it back!

This is a very good product and I am well pleased with it but for the scanner. After I have scanned a document, I cannot find it! I would like to scan and then put it on the clipboard so that I can retrieve it.

Had no problems installing this. Wireless connection set up easily but had to use the USB cable initially so that the setup can recognise the printer. Agree with some recent posts that the printer can be noisy especially when starting up, but this is a minimal point. Tried out the photo prints as well as the copier/scanner and very pleased. A good buy for the price.
