The Good:
One of the fastest laptops you can get for this sort of price.
Comes with little extras not told about ie infra red remote control.
Good build quality.
Not loaded with too much junk software.
The Bad:
Short battery life.
Attracts fingerprints like a magnet.
With the BIOS setup (which it comes with) it overheats. So change to fan always on.
Overall: Good laptop if you do not intend to use this laptop on the move for long length of time.

Having purchased this item a few months ago, I agree it is a good laptop, the screen is bright and the keyboard is set out nicely and works very well. However it does not have a firewire port as stated in the description. The description is in fact about a slightly higher model the DV6-2113 and is very misleading, also the graphics are of a lower quality, however it is still a nice laptop and performs admirably.

looks and works great, except one of the reasons i bought this model is that it is listed on Amazon as having an IEEE 1394 firewire interface, which after setting it up, I find it has no such thing. So I can not download video from my camcorder

I have had this for a couple of months now & am still finding out more about the way it works.
The keyboard & number pad are well designed & respond easily.
I had just begun to use the Lightscribe function for writing on disks – it is great, making your disks look so professional.
I am pleased that I bought this machine.
