The adaptor works so far and it is a inexpensive solution if you have lost the dock that comes with the ipod shuffle 2nd generation.
However, I found a review on the internet that warns that the adapter should only be used for the 2nd generation ipod shuffle because it might “fry” other appliances.

I stepped on my ipod shuffle dock and broke it so I had to get a new one, I came on Amazon to find the replacements from Apple were £14 which is stupid for a little bit of plastic. I saw this for £1.50 and was hesitant at first because of price but it works perfectly and it’s actually better then the original dock, smaller and less hassle and only £1.50, I think I paid more for the postage.

After clumsily standing on the original dock and breaking the 3.5mm jack I started looking for a replacement. Suprised by the lack of options and the price of those that were available on the high street I hit the web and found these.
Given they we’re so cheap I bought one for home and one for the office (and if I’m honest my expectations were so low I thought I’d improve my chances of getting one that might actually work). Both work perfectly and in a lot of way are much better and more robust that the original dock from Apple!

i was amazed by this product as i didnt know it exsited but very ideal as i bought it for my little sister who has a tendency to brake the ones with wires that come with the i pod

I bought one of these to replace a destroyed original charger. I thought for this price it would be rubbish. How wrong I was. It is actually more convenient than the original one. Why Apple made such a bulky charging dock is really questionable when you can use something this small instead. Great.
