My old XD card reader with its 50cm cable was on the blink, so I ordered this. Life is now less cluttered around my PC and the reader works really well. Good purchase, good build quality, feels solid.

Easy way to transfer camera photos on to any computer – only need usb port and don’t need memory card slots and the camera drivers don’t need to be on the computer (good for older pcs). Very useful at work – if someone hands me a camera and asks me to upload the photos I don’t need to search for the correct wire (I also have the Integral SD card reader).

I was going to buy one of those 50000 in 1 function integrated card readers as a replacement for a mislaid camera cable, but opted for this instead as I could use it on multiple PCs without faffing.
Works a treat, does exactly what it says on the tin, at a very reasonable price.
A real no-brainer of a purchase.
