I wandered around the shopping centre for a little while after I got my iPhone and looked at a couple of cases. Even the guy on the market stall-type arrangement wanted £9.99 for, what looked to me, a cheap plastic case. So instead I ordered this from Amazon. It’s great! It’s real leather, feels good quality, you can access all the key functions of the phone – including the camera/flash and the charging port – and it looks smart and stylish. Plus, it effectively eliminates the infamous iPhone ‘grip of death’ because you’re holding the case, not the phone. What may not be obvious from the pictures is that you can fold the flip part of the case right back on itself, so it doesn’t get in the way. I think I’d give this five stars even if it -wasn’t- under a fiver, but for that money frankly it’s fabulous!

I bought this case for my iPhone 4 because I looked at screen protectors and decided I wanted to avoid the hassle of choosing and fitting a screen protector which could spoil the slickness of the product. The price of this case is great considering the quality. It’s made up of a hard plastic cradle securely attached to the leather cover. There are only three clips on the cradle, two at the bottom corners and a larger one at the top which don’t obscure the front of the phone at all.
With the case attached the phone is suddenly much easier to hold comfortably without fear of it slipping out of your fingers. The magnetic flap at the top is a great feature and allows you to easily open or close the case with one finger if necessary.
I would give the product 5 stars but I’ve found that the hole in the back of the case for the camera isn’t quite large enough. For daylight photography I’ve found that the very top left corner of my photos is slightly obscured. Flash photography is completely pointless as the led simply reflects off the edges of the hole back into the viewfinder and over exposes every photo. With this in mind though, and considering the price, it’s no great hardship to quickly unclip the phone from the case to take photos, after all the case is designed to protect the phone when it’s in your pocket, not when it’s being used.
I strongly recommend this product but secretly hope for an updated case at the same price with a slightly larger camera hole.

Bought this to go with my new iPhone4G. It arrived well packed etc. The phone fits perfectly and the case looks good. I have dropped my phone twice…and the case keeps it protected. Time will tell over its durability but at under a fiver, I’d be happy to buy a new one in 12 months.

The item does the trick. Its covers the iphone. But the leather, well, doesnt feel much like leather. Has a cheap pvc feel about it.

Huge bargain, I especially like that the phone is not obstructed, it is held in place by 3 prongs on the plastic cradle. No issues at all with the camera hole, fits perfectly. Highly recommended, I would have payed much more for it
