A nice little toy but these are usually hit and miss. This is a profound miss. The price should give it away really.

Pro:

- Looks cool

- Small, light and very portable.

- Price.

Con:

- Charger wire is very short.

- Charger doesn’t fit flush with the transmitter.

- Transmitter is very poor sound quality compared with other brands.

- Transmitter makes low pitched humming noise through radio when plugged into charger.

Have had a couple of other makes and types that worked fine but paid £40/£50 for them. This is a bargain and does everything you need it to do. Coupled with the fact that you also get a charger makes it a no brainer. works fine with car stereo and with my boat stereo, the remote means i can wrap the ipod up in a waterproof bag and control it with the remote. I thought i had problems with the remote to start with and seller immediately sent a replacement, however appears that you need to point it right a the bottom of the transmitter for it to work (user error). Does feel a bit cheap but then it is so, we’ll see how long it lasts. But if you’re after a self powered transmitter for next to nothing then you cant go wrong with this one.

it worked perfectly for a week or two, then it just completely stopped working and no car radios will pick it up.
