This product work great, it works well and it doesn’t have a cap for the connector that you can lose.

I bought this for my wife. One of the reasons for buying it is that when plugged into the PC if you search for it under My Computer it identifies itself as Kingston.
This means that on a PC like mine where I have several readers I know, and my wife knows which one to open.
I was a little disappointed with the retracting USB attachment though. I have a 2GB Kingston key of my own from work and this has a lid. While it is necessary to look after the lid so as not to loose it it functions as a cover keeping the plug clear of fluff and other pocket / handbag debris. The retracting plug still leaves it open at the end to fluff and my wife has started keeping it in a little plastic bag. Other than that it is a good product and at the price I would not hesitate to buy it again

With in days of placing my order for the Kington DataTraveler I G2 4GB USB flash drive it had arrived from the supplier (IJT Direct) in the condition & description as stated on Amazon. The product has a handy slide device to extract the USB connection from the interior of the flash drive.The product measures around 58mm in length, 22mm in width & 9mm in thickness. My computer which runs Vista found the flash drive easy to detect. The product also contains a place to connect a keyring if desired by the owner.For 4GB the price of this flash drive is cheaper than any I have found whilst out shopping, a great piece of kit at a great price.

This USB drive is cheap and great, with a five year warranty, its the longest I’ve seen for a flash drive. It doesn’t get any better.
Would like to see some form of security firmware for this product, that would make it a five star. At the moment, it has my four and a half stars. An addition, I now appreciate the fact that this drive comes capless, just lost the cap of my sandisk and it has made me hate the capless flash. kudos

I ordered the swiveling Kingston DataTraveler101 but got this one instead. I find it very difficult to use. There is a plastic push button and slide mechanism on the side which is quite stiff on mine. If you haven’t got great grip and strong fingernails, you might want to avoid this type of drive pen. I haven’t used it yet so can’t comment on reliability, but I’m not impressed with packaging.
