L.A. Noir: The City as Character

What my title says. Sure, it shows the locations of several L.A. noir classics, but some of the pictures are fairly recent, rather than showing the places as they were in the 1940s.

My biggest criticism however, is the lack of an index – or even a table of contents. It’s just a mass of – apparently randomly organised – text and pictures.

A little more thought and care could have made this a much more useful reference work.
