Got this as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend and have to say I love it.

Set it up on my bedside table to watch movies and bbc iPlayer when in bed and it’s great, sound can be very loud which was very surprising but easily adjusted via the remote or unit itself, for iPhone or iPod Touch it’s great haven’t tried it for my other Ipods yet but it comes with a number of docks.

Also if you have a iPhone or iPod Touch you can download the free program via app store call night stand, when plugged into the unit it then functions as a very cool bedside alarm clock.

why not 5 stars? well the remote does not control the video function perfectly but as you are watching a small screen you are never really more than a arm length away while watching films so doesn’t really bother me, but this is a problem so not awarding 5 stars. but for music function remote works perfectly.

I think it’s great.

Not much to add to Mr T’s review, except that the sound from this unit is definitely room filling (if needed), without running the risk of harmonic distortion. It delivers very pleasing bass and high note audio reproduction for music and films. That the i-Station also charges iPods/iPhones is an added convenience.

I would have been surprised to find the remote to work with video, as one clearly has to be close to the unit to watch visual output, so the user can obviously interact directly in this case. Output to a TV can be achieved more easily via the Apple supplied wire.

We bought the unit just for Apple iPod Touch / iPhone – so again you get what you were told before you choose to buy this little marvel, hence full points !

Having got the IPod 32G touch to download all my CD’s, one of the reqiurements from my wife was that we needed to be able to take the music with us. This was the answer. You can get smaller and lighter models, but for quality of both manufacture and output, this is at the very top. What is also great is that once your IPod is inserted in the player, you just turn it through 45o and the full capability of the IPod comes into play. This system will fill any room with great sound, and with the battery option you can take it out doors and annoy as many people as you wish. We love it!

i’ve searhed for a portable Iphone dock speaker for quite a while, and I think I found the best option allround. If you ask me if it has the best sound, the answer is NO, and probably its not the most expensive looking either, but what you have to ask yourself, is if you want a very nice and expensive docker to take it camping or on Holiday,…probably not.

This dock costs arround £60, and for that you get very good mid range sound and bass, with a decent build quality, even the turn landscape part feels quite nice, this speaker would be plenty to fill a very large room without a problem, and if you have an Iphone, its fully compatible, no flight mode request, and you have full remote with it.

In addition, there is no interference with incoming calls, the music just lowers it self slowly and once the takes the missed call, it comes back up.

If you are in between the JBL IIIp, and the Logic 3, I defenatly would pick the Logic 3

I’d been looking for something to watch my iphone videos on without having to hold it. This does it very well. Two small gripes: 1. Remote doesn’t seem to work for every function. 2. If you listen to audiobooks in bed the volume control only seems to manage a bit too loud or a bit too quiet, which can be quite annoying. Generally great though.
