Didn’t get the chance to use this, as it is designed for a laptop of a maximum of 15.4″ so my Acer 15.6″ widescreen laptop hangs over the side.

Straightforward refund though, so can’t fault Amazon for the transaction

Well I recieved it this morning and have been using it all day, and I am surprised with the results to be honest.

I usually get some form of malfunction in my laptop within about 1-2 hours, which then gets shorter with each subsequent restart.

I’ve been using my laptop all day, and have had NO problems what-so-ever.

I’ll throw some numbers out there to back myself up:

My core temperature is usually averaged at about 78 degrees C, today it’s not gone above 50.

My Hard Drive temperature sits at between 45 and 50, and is now down to a constant MAX of 38.

To me, this is an amazing gain for the price.

28 degrees cooler is hard to achieve by any means, but from something that costs ~£20, it’s a bargain.

It’s also comfy, easy to set up (LITERALLY plug-and-go, no drivers, no problems, plug it in and it starts), and it’s made of high quality stuff. My laptop is also bigger than the stated recommended size, but it’s no problem at all, still works perfectly fine as stated earlier.

10/10 product.

Thank you very much.

The Logitech N100 Cooling Pad is a simple tablet with a USB plug and a fan. The USB brings the power to the fan, that puts fresh air to the bottom of the notebook. The N100 looks simple, with a wave profile and a white/green skin. It’s very lighter, the materials are good (plastic for the most part of the components). It’s not recommended for notebooks over 14″/15″, I think does the best work on 13″ notebooks.

About the reseller, the N100 was packed very well, in his original box. The delivery was fast (8/10 days from UK to Italy, it’s a very good delivery) and cheap. No problems to report.

Very satisfied.

My Acer laptop was overheating when used on our laps for any serious amount of time, this really helped stop that happening. Easy to use, sensibly designed, and good value for this price. Certainly better than buying a new laptop!

We bought this and a My Link 3-fan cooler to replace the more expensive Belkin Lounge that conked out after only 7 months.

Straight out of the box, this is a beautiful design. It really looks good and it’s really comfortable to use on your lap, as well as light and far neater than the Belkin and definitely far tidier and more comfy than the My Link. The USB wire is neatly tucked away in little grooves underneath which adds to the neatness and thought that went into this design.

Although it has no retainer bars, the 15.6 laptop sits very securely and safely on top of the tray (which has a couple of large rubber pads that stop the lappie moving), and the fan is definitely very very quiet….

The big But is that it has only 1 fan, This is partly why it’s so very quiet! The great sadness with this piece is that although it does cool, I’m really not sure that it’s cooling enough. For example, the pentium temp has hovered around 94c (!! – far too close to Intel rec max!) as I’ve written this. The My Link had the temp down to about 65c. Also the one fan is place centrally at the back, whereas all my Acer machines get hot at the front as well.

It’llbe interesting to compare performance between this and the My Link. Three stars for beauty and great design – would have been a five for 2 fans!
