What can I say? This bag is truly designed for purpose. For the travelling photographer this is an absolute delight. It has so many great features, all of which work!

The best part is the slingshot. Being able to have your camera ready without taking off the bag is brilliant. The bag is designed so everything is to hand in the ‘front’ position (it also gives you extra support in this position), & yet in the ‘back’ position everything is nicely padded, won’t fall out & doesn’t weigh heavy on one shoulder.

There are some nice extras, like the LCD screen protector, & the waterproof, hideaway cover is very useful (especially on any rambling you may do), the bag can be covered & protected in seconds.

There is room for keys, money & phone. Sandwiches & drink would be a struggle! This bag is very compact, if you carry lots of lenses you may want the 200 version. There are some external loops that a tripod could be clipped to (I haven’t tried yet).

The bag is listed for a digital camera but you could easily fit a film SLR, lenses & spare film in this too.

Quite simply, this is the best camera bag I have ever used!

I really like this bag, its well made and looks smart, the “slingshot” idea is a great one and it works well. Its just about the right size for my needs, at a squeeze it will fit in my nikon d300 with 18-200mm lens attached, 10-20mm lens and 50mm lens in separate compartments and sb-600 speedlight in top compartment, a couple of filters, lens hoods and spare CF card. That really is about all it is possible to fit in but it all fits in securely with nothing rattling around. However as mentioned it is a bit of a squeeze to get this particular, and relatively large, camera out at times but nothing to detract from this great little bag. I would recommend to anybody who is looking for a good quality and unobtrusive bag to carry around their kit.

This was one of my first accessories having bought the 400D, since it arrived it now goes with me and the camera everywhere. It has been designed well and I just love the shoulder/sling design, it is especially good when you come to take photo and want to access your camera, you simply rotate it on your person so the back is sitting on your chest, unzip, remove camera use it and by all means use the surface of the bag for added support. Once done you simply put the camera back in, zip it up and push it to your back again. Its so simple which makes it so good. I won’t repeat too much of what other people have already commented :)

Just got this bag today. Build Quality is what you’d expect from Lowepro excellent! Does what it says on the tin so to speak!

Now then I have a Canon 400D with a battery grip, 17-85 IS lens with lens hood. This set up is a tight fit to say the least in this bag . In fact it won’t fit with the hood attached . Just about fits with the hood reversed.

The 400D in standard form will fit a treat and there is room for an extra lens and flash .

Still I give it top marks for design , price etc . Just a tad small for a big DSLR. I suggest you try for size in a camera shop and then buy it on Amazon!

I cannot recommend this bag highly enough. I recently took it on holiday, and was able to fit an SLR, a compact digital, tons of spare films and memory cards and my guide book in it! The inside is full of pouches to store stuff, and there are extra pockets for small items like keys etc on the front. The weather proof cover is great (and worked in a heavy downpour!)
