Bought this item – it looks like it’s charging when plugged in but is not working at all!

When I recieved this item I was impressed by the compactness apparent ease of use for this charger.
However after contacting the supplier(who responded very well indeed)for operating instructions I started to struggle to see any signs of my i pod and mp3 player responding to the charger.Not having used one of these items before I assumed it was charging but saw no outward signs of progress.After only one week I departed to the Gambia on holiday with high hopes with my i pod and ball loudspeaker(which also charges on the same device.After using these items in the field it became apparent that there was little or virtually no charge being delivered to them the previouse day.I took the device to a local electrical store at Serrecunda market and he tested the device.He informed me the device was faulty which left me feeling gutted as I was very heavily dependant on this chargerfor my work in thefield.I was directed to a small market stall where I could purchase a similar item.This was tested for me straight away and the new charger was working perfectly.I shall be returning my old charger tothe supplier on my return from holiday.

Ordered this the other day and it arrived the day after, excellent little tool it don’t look much when you take it out of the box, but this is a usb charger, I bought it originally to charge ps3 pads as the system is the other side of the room. but I haven’t got round to that yet. I’m thinking of getting another though because you don’t reaslise how much demand for it you had til you have it. Gotta lot of usb chargeable stuff? buy one
