I am very impressed with these speakers and I use them with my sandisk player. Bonus having the power adapter too. They perform ‘just right’ without deafening me whilst I am doing the pre-christmas decorating !

My children have also asked if I will buy some speakers for their mp3 players, given the good performance and price I will be purchasing some for them.

These speakers were bought for one reason,,, HOLIDAY!!!

Going by the sound they have produced out the box they are perfect, mid range sounds are really surprising BASS is as expected (not the best)… but Im now really looking forward to drinks on our balcony before we go out… The reason I have rated this down is, the title says this is compatible with the IPOD nano 3rd GEN,,, well yes in theory that is true but when you put the speaker wire into the bottom of the IPOD it then does not sit in between the speakers!!!! so does not look good and could damage the headphone input as it actually stands on it! I thought going by the pictures that it had a connection like a docking station.

If you want something really cheap for holiday this is it just dont expect hifi quality and enjoy.

After seeing quite a lot of good reviews for this portable speaker, I was very disappointed when it arrived and I tried it. It was cheap plastic with a very flimsy wire connection to the ipod – I doubt that the wire would last terribly long. The sound was tinny with a persistent background buzzing noise. It worked – that is the only positive thing I can say.

If you want a decent sound from your ipod/mp3 player…buy the Creative travel speaker which is outstanding.

I also brought these speakers for my Ipod to take on holiday. They are incredibly good value for money, especially as they come with the mains charger, which I can also use to charge my Ipod!

The sound quality is great for such a small set. I was expecting them to sound tiny, but not at all. So I am looking forward to playing some tunes in the hotel before a night out!

I was looking for (a) travel speakers and (b) a travel charger for my iPod (80GB Classic). These fit the bill all-in-one.

One of the key reasons I like these is that they’re lightweight, and fold away nicely. The volume, whilst unlikely to keep your neighbours awake at night, is more than sufficient for most people’s needs – I’m currently using them in my kitchen, and the volume’s great.

The only downside I’ve seen so far is that they’re not very bass-y, but at this price, it’s a minor quibble.

One point: your iPod won’t charge whilst it plays – you need the lead that would normally connect your iPod to your PC and this then slots into the plug for the speakers (which is detachable).

Good work.
