The two stars isn’t for the supplier or the quality of the product. It arrived promptly and provides adequate protection for the phone. But unless you’re a night owl you will struggle to use your phone. The mirror works ok but in bright light you don’t stand a chance at seeing the screen – even at full brightness. I’ve found myself trying to find dark corners to see what I’m doing. It really shows the fingerprints on the phone which also makes the mirror less effective. I will be taking mine off. Personally, it doesn’t suit the iphone – it hides the wonderful gadget it is.

Idea is good and could be used as a mirror but it darkened the screen so much I had to take it off. It also flecked too many colours as it moved in light making the screen hard to see in that way too. The 2 stars are for arriving in good time and well pacakged, but there were no instructions with the product to assist with any screen adjustments.

It was easy to put on, and I have left it on for the time being till I get a replacement.

The screen cover did not have holes for the loudspeaker, so before punching them in myself.. i couldnt hear anyone who called. The screen saver was a bit too small for an iphone. Both reasons made me think that maybe it is produced for an ipod touch.

Finally the glare does distract some applications when it is sunny, however I didn’t mind that since the mirror is great and I think it is a handy thing to have!

While this does make your iPhone behave like a hand mirror when the screen is blank, it does impose a heavy rainbow effect on the picture, which it also darkens a bit. On the upside, it’s pretty hardy against dirt and scratches, and it removes quite easily, if you ever decide to take it off. Mind you, this is not a flimsy cover; it’s actually quite thick (for better or for worse).

Just as a task expands to fill the time available, so do the contents of your handbag. Your handbag is too small, you buy larger ones, you load in more stuff and suddenly it is too small again. ANYTHING in that bag that fulfulls more than one function is a bonus and, having smashed the mirror in my makeup bag a long time ago, now having a mirror on my Iphone is a lifesaver. It is a BIG mirror so you can see both eyes at the same time for example vs most compact mirrors which are so tiny you can’t compare eyes easily and and check your makeup is not lop-sided. Because it is a ‘phone, you can also check your make-up or spinach status of teeth during a meeting / lunch Vs getting the vanity bag out and looking like a total girl if in male company. Sure, it is not perfect as it is quite a dull reflection, sure, in very bright sunshine it can be hard to see the Iphone screen and sure it is slowly getting scratched by other things in my handbag and I will need to replace it. That said I totally, totally recommend this and would not be without it now. I think it also makes the ‘phone look quite cool.
