This review is from: Modern-Tech Black Flexible L.E.D Light for Amazon Kindle 1, 2 & 3 (Electronics)

Having received my Kindle 3 for Christmas, I ordered this light so that I could continue reading in bed with minimum disturbance to my husband.

I found the light to be much larger/heavier than I thought it would be, and it did not easily clip to the top of the Kindle (Or rather, it would have clipped on fine, except it would have obscured the top 6-10 lines of text!)
The light itself is more blue than white, which is fine, but I did find it to glare off the screen quite a lot.

Overall, it’s not without it’s advantages/disadvantages, and is reasonable for the price, but mildly disappointing. Kindle should come up with a transparent lit-screen like the sony e-reader instead.

Pros: flexible neck allows for repositioning
Soft pad on clip to help protect screen/casing

cons: Takes 3x AAA batteries, making it heavy (and annoying. I never have spare AAA batteries in the house!)
Hides top lines of text when clipped on securely
Light glares off the screen unless positioned in exact place

This product is quite slippery and unstable on the screen in I would recommend that you do not buy it if you move your kindle significantly whilst reading or you may end up with a broken reading light
