Before I write my review, let me give you a list of things that an iPod should NOT do or even be allowed to do:

* take photos

* browse the web

* browse Google maps

* play videos

* take photos

* play games

* be physically larger than 1.14 x 1.24 x 0.34 inches

* Skype grandma and talk about tea parties

* launch space shuttles

* make coffee

* receive and send e-mails

* take notes

* weigh over a ton

* give weather forecasts…..etc…….etc……etc

And now for a list of things an iPod SHOULD do:

* play digital audio content

* play digital audio content

* play digital audio content

* play digital audio content

* play digital audio content

* play digital audio content

* play digital audio content

* play digital audio content

At last APPLE HAVE FINALLY PERFECTED the iPod. Everything previous to the 6th gen Nano were experimentations. They came close with the 2nd gen Shuffle. At last they have taken the best feature of the Touch ie: touch screen; and the best feature of the Shuffle ie: miniature form and clip; and created the ULTIMATE iPod !!!!

This is truly the perfect iPod. It weighs next to nothing, can be clipped to your shirt/trouser/jacket/whatever and you can access all the content with great ease.

This is what an iPod is all about, people.

The iPod Touch hardly qualifies for an iPod. It’s big, bulky, heavy and cumbersome. It actually falls into the category of a micro tablet computer in my opinion.

If you want all the gizmos that the Touch offers, then get an iPhone for Pete’s sake.

The 6th gen Nano truly is an amazing iPod. It’s kept simple and yet still has all the features that are typical of an MP3 player.

Aesthetically, it is simply stunning. No other iPod looks as snazzy as this baby.

I highly recommend it to anyone who wants truly portable audio.

PROS:

* looks amazing

* touch screen

* simple menu layout

* very light

* has a clip to secure to your clothing

* turns heads (it damn well should do!)

CONS:

* it would have been nice if Apple had included Nike+ inside the iPod instead of a separate dongle but I can live with that.
