Good mouse. No weird surprizes like a short cable or jittery curser (unless you have a red desk and too much free time). It’s everything the product description says it is.

It is a good mouse and I recommend it to everyone. Just a couple of things you may want to know before you buy:

*the cable is looong. Long enough for use with your desktop PC, but I can’t see why would anyone need such a long cable when plugging it into a laptop.

*the additional blue LED gives the mouse a nice aesthetic touch, as the color of the red sensor light blend nicely with the blue and, as mentioned in another review, the overall effect is pleasing. However, I personally find the blue LED light too sharp and it’s positioned just so that it burns my eyes when I remove my hand off the clickers. It can be quite disturbing when trying to concentrate on a problem and the intense blue light shines just inside your field of vision.

I needed a mouse for my laptop and couldn’t be bothered to go out of the house to buy one. Seeing this on here for under a fiver, I thought it was at least worth a try (and I expected it to be quite shoddy).

I was very pleasantly surprised when it came – worked within seconds of being plugged in and never had a single problem. Great size – not too small, and very ergonomical. I thought the lights were a really cool feature; it didn’t look like the sort of thing that had been assembled togteher at a cheap price with a few dodgy LEDs as I initially feared. It only added to the sleek look of the device which you could easily see on a designer shop shelf for £20-30. Being optical, the movement was constantly smooth and running solely off USB power, there were never any battery flaps or other problems to get in the way. Having such a basic device actually meant that there was less to go wrong – in this case, nothing.

And there isn’t much else to say as the device worked continiously without any flaws until I replaced it over a year after being given a different mouse to try out. I’ve still got it and take it when I’m travelling. Although there are wires, I prefer the plug and go simplicty of it. Great little device.

The red and blue lights give this little mouse an unusual look. I say little, but this isn’t a ‘mini’ mouse, I tried one of those once and found it was too small for regular comfortable use. This one is a perfect size for small to average sized hands.

I bought it because it looked nice and was cheap, not expecting it to be hard wearing, but I’ve been using it daily now for over a year and the only thing that’s happened is that the blue light only shows on one side now rather than both sides. I’ve also carried it around for use with my laptop – it’s very light so ideal for this – and it’s stood up to a fair bit of use and abuse.

Once it does wear out I’ll probably get another one – it’s been excellent value and I’d miss it’s cheerful little lights!
