Purchased this battery as a spare for my Sony cyber shot W220 and am very pleased its an excellant battery with the addition of indicating amount of charge left in minutes on the camera display, Once you’ve got one you will not want to go back to the basic standard battery.

Having had a battery that wasn’t compatable with my W170 camera it was a relief that this one works ok and does the countdown time helpfully. Perhaps Amazon could consider adding the DSC-W170 to the list.

So pleased with this and the price. Proper Sony battery. It went into my Sony W170 great. I wanted a second battery for a spare. This one is even better than the one I got with my camera because it has a countdown timer on it. Very pleased with purchase.
