I am in a reasonably strong digital signal area and have a digital aerial and receive all the free view channels. Having purchased an additional digital TV for a second room with an existing analogue aerial, the auto tune found most of the digital channels. However, I wanted to move the TV and rather than re-wire, I purchased this unit after reading a number of reviews.

It arrived, I retuned (several times) and each time, zero channels found (digital and analogue) and the error message, ‘connect aerial’!

I reconnected to the analogue aerial and the TV instantly recognised a digital signal and retuned. This unit just has leads to connect it to the TV and power. It does not boost an existing aerial signal.

Thankfully Amazon provides excellent return and refund facility. Thank you Amazon!

Have now bought some coaxial cable!

i completely disagree with the other review. this is the best aerial i’ve had in years! the dual patch means you don’t need to keep moving it around to get the best reception. you simply plonk it on your tv. it is very likely that anyone who does not find this aerial “good” has not set it up correctly. you do not need to place the aerial on full boost to get best signal.

moreover the looks of the aerial are great – very swanky and suave.

thumbs up!
