Bought this a few weeks ago, image quality is fantastic even going past the optical zoom level and build quality must be good as it has managed to withstand my clumsiness without any damage! Would definitely recommend.

The problem buying anything like a new camera these days, is that there are so many different versions around, and everyone has an opinion… (and here’s mine). Eventually after much research I took a punt on the Panasonic FX 60. I liked the look of it, and it seemed to have all the bells and whistles you could need.

Having used it for around a month now, it’s been fantastic. Is it the best camera of its type out there? I have no idea, but you won’t be dissapointed if you decide to buy..

I am impressed with this little camera. I own digital SLRs but have struggled to find a small camera that gives me the results I wanted without having to carry heavy equipment. I have tried a number of small cameras that failed to impress but was very quickly taken with this one. It’s a case of deciding what you want from a camera. I wanted decent images without having to tweak numerous settings on a PC to get good prints.

There is only an Auto setting and no viewfinder but these are not even negative comments – just facts that don’t bother me. It has sensible zoom range; will produce up to 12Mb files – and best of all, can be carried in a shirt pocket. Another fairly unique feature is the 25mm lens so it’s excellent for landscape shots – or for use by estate agents looking for wide indoor shots. In fact a local estate agent has just bought one based on my experiences and is delighted.

Overall a first class buy and excellent value for money – especially at the Amazon prices.

Another excellent Panasonic camera.

As usual, menus are simple and clear, screen clarity is excellent and, of course, picture quality is great for a camera of this size.

The FX60 has a rubberised style coating which took a little while to grow on me, but it makes the camera very easy to shoot one handed.

Exactly what I had hoped for: does all it says in the spec and delivers excellent photos in low light. The image stabilising performance is stunning.
