A quickly delivered product which works very well with my Optoma DVD 100 video projector.

Only one small niggle:

On first time of erecting, without undue force, a small section of plastic broke off the lower tripod mount when I expanded the legs. It was easily re-affixed with superglue and was not mechanically important. It would have been better to have had a “stop” so that you can’t over-push the tripod legs though.

The screen was easy to erect and looked impressive. Not something to transport in the car too often though on account of size!

The screen is exactly what we needed and very reasonably priced. Easy to erect and not too difficult to carry from place to place. The size is good as it just fits into the car and there is still space for 2 people to sit in the front.

We needed a wide screen display and this is perfect for our needs

The only downside to this product is the strong smell of paint we noticed when first using it. That is easing now we have used it a few times.

This screen is ideal for those wanting to have that home cinema experience without paying half the cost again of their projector on a screen to get a nice crisp 80″ widescreen image. It comes very well packed which is always a good sign and means it was in perfect condition upon arrival. Once you have deciphered the chinese to english translated instructions (to be fair – instructions were step by step with clear colour photo’s), the stand and screen can be put up and down very quickly (for the first time a second person is recommended!). The screen itself is of good quality and has the black border which better frames and sets off the image. Colours are reproduced accurately, and although basic in the way it is held in place, it is more than adequate for my occassional use. Although portable, it is a bit cumbersome and weighty, so more of a luggable, but it does come with a carry handle but no case. Overall the whole package is very good value for money and I am happy to recommend it.

The instructions are written in a rather unclear manner, making it difficult to follow. All the same, I managed to expand the contraption to align the `screen cassette’ perpendicular to the main frame (tripod mount) and then expand the screen to the required height. The screen cassette came detached from the tripod mount afterwards, but I have found it convenient as I can store it separately from the tripod mount. They can be reattached easily with a simple `lever lock’ mechanism. The picture quality is excellent on the matt white background. The unit had the smell of fresh paint, which is slowly getting better!
