Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R15HJ3VKV3KSOM This is my second Pentax, my last one, Optio L40 got sand in it. I was very upset with myself. I purchased another camera (not a Pentax) and it was rubbish. Now the Pentax Optio E85. Easy to use, easy touch controls. Great quality of picture. I make DVD’s of my grand-daughter and send them to Canada to the other grandmother. It is so easy to take video and to transfer to DVD.Quality is clear The camera fits in my handbag so is always available to catch the “magic moment”. One such magic moment my grand-daughter trying to ice her birthday cake!! See my video!! This camera has the extra feature of being able to add voice memo to a photo, I can see great fun being had with this. Just have to practice. I would advise anyone buying a new camera to play with it, just take lots of pictures of the same thing with different settings, get to know it well. With the 12MP quality is excellent when blown up and shown on the “big screen” ie television!

Found this an easy to use camera with nice range of options for different situations. zoom range little disappointing after Ricoh . Price from Amazon excellent Cheaper here(UK) than in a duty free island !!

Haven’t mastered the flash options yet but scene option buttons sort most thinks out. All in all good value for money and quality one expects from Pentax for those who remember the old film days.

Bought this item for my son who is going to South Africa soon. As I already owned the Pentax Optio 10 mega pixels myself and found it not too difficult to use, I looked for a similar one for him, as neither of us are exactly brilliant photographers. I find mine absolutely brilliant for use with a computer, this one is better. It has a larger viewing screen, the zoom is very easy to use, and after about only half an hour of messing around with it, you easily get the hang of it.

Lots of different settings, for focus, night-time, flash on/off/soft flash, different picture modes, and of course the video facility which is very good and simple to use. Lets’ face it if I can use this digital camera, then anyone can!!! Would not consider anything other than a Lithium battery, as this battery life lasts far longer than conventional batteries and depending on use, of course, does not need to be charged too often or for too long. Stylish too, in plain black, lightweight, in this digital age, especially with technophobia, this camera is a must for anyone who hasn’t tried digital before. Great.
