Love it! It does the job, love having a tiny screen to better browse the folders I put on it, of course you won’t watch hours of movies cos its small, but the ability to play vids is a bonus!

I was after a compact mp3 player and this one is truely tiny, light and the battery lasts long.

love it!

I bought this for my 7 year old son. I know, why should a 7 year old neeed an mp3 player. Things have changed. When I was 10 my Xmas present was Elvis’ 40 greatest hits and it was the best present I ever had. It will probably always be the best present I ever have.

Anyway. This is amazingly easy.

My little boy is into JLS and Michael Jackson. We downloaded our cd’s straight onto the mp3. The best part is you can download vidioes straight from Youtube onto your mp3 player. It takes about 15 to 25 minutes to download a video but it’s worth it as you are not paying a penny.

This Xmas day, I kid you not, we hardly saw our boy. He had a new ds game along with his new mp3 player. I uploaded his player with a couple of albums (JLS and MJ’S Off The Wall) along with a couple of MJ videos.

We found the disc that came with the mp3 didn’t work on our computer but we went straight to the Phillips help site and downloaded the stuff we needed.

I gotta tell ya, My 7 year old son now has a better mp3 system that I have.

The most important thing is tonight my Boy told me this was the best Xmas he had ever had.

This item is beautiful! Very light and easy to use (simple, but smart), it is my everyday friend. The sound is superb. However, I do not use the earphones provided with this item, I use my Stereo JVC earbuds (they fit well in the ears and keep the noise out) and the sound is crystal clear! I have one objection though, you can not rewind the song or forward it. For this I give it 4 stars. You can just play your song again if u want. I haven’t used the other functions yet but I will update as soon as I do. I bought a USB-charger for it, but it seems it simply charges when you plug it in you computer. It needs Media Player 10 for conversion.

You cannot use your photos for the display which has only 3 (dark, red and light – yellow) display colours you can choose from. As a screen saver you get several options like the clock (digital or classic), which will reset each time you switch off the mp3 player.

I bought a very cheap and fashionble pouch (made of neopren and small) for it and for the earbuds (u can purchase it from Poundland for 1 pound!)

I recommend it! It is a very good mp3 player (easy to use, light, fashionable, very good sound quality)!

I think this is too small for anyone who wants to watch anything, but for music playing it’s smashing. I like the simplicity of it immensely and it works with media player perfectly. It is tiny and weighs nothing much at all so is easy to carry around. I think I’ll get about 4000 songs on it judging by how small an amount has been used up on the 800 I’ve put on already. The headphones that come with it are far too big for my ears, but I had my own set so are using them perfectly satisfactorily. I like it. I think the Sony’s are better however. Their sound quality is better and they’re sturdier. I’m not unhappy with this though.

I got this player for Xmas after my previous player (the very physically similar Creative Zen V-Micro) started to flag on the battery front. And I have to say it’s a massive improvement on the Creative, even though that was a superb player in its own right. The first thing you notice is the weight – it’s as light as a feather, and actually feels like there must be nothing inside the case. The second thing is the super-simple controls – no real need to consult the manual to work this device. The third (and most important) thing is the sound. Wow, for a unit this compact and lightweight, it really packs a punch. The stereo separation is fantastic, the EQ actually works and serves to demonstrate the tremendous bass capabilities of the unit, and the overall clarity is astonishing. With this player, I feel like I am actually listening to a top-quality CD rather than a fuzzy, compressed MP3 – and that’s a real achievement.

Philips have done a great job with this unit and I would recommend it to everyone, especially those looking for great audio.
