This is the second pair of headphones made my Philips that have quite literally fallen apart. The previous ones were of a different type. These headphones have great sound quality and fit comfortably. They also tend to actually stay in your ear thanks to the loop unlike regular in-ear headphones that regularly fall out. However, the rubber loops on the edges of the speakers frequently came off and eventually one was lost. This meant that the sharp plastic underneath was exposed, and the headphones were thus unwearable.

Have had a couple of pairs of these and the sound quality is surprisingly not bad for the price, but you may have to be a bit careful with them as the area where the wire meets the actual earpiece is a little fragile. With a few months of pulling them out of your ears you may find one ear goes dead as the connection becomes damaged…not bad at all though for a value option, even if they’ll struggle to last much more than 6 months.

Been looking for headphones that I can use in the gym and running outdoors and these are excellent. I had previously bought some really modern ones like the sony mdr j10’s and they just do not stay put, these philips ones are just the job and good quality sound.

Received these today and used them already. I am now surprised at the bad reviews of the black version of these headphones. People who have bought these have given the thumbs up on here and I agree. Very comfortable, great sound (and sound is very important to me), and they look good. I can maybe foresee losing the grey removable coverings on each headphone (use the size that fits best), but like everything if you look after it properly it should be ok. Most of all I am happy cos I bought these to use when I am in the gym. They are stay on and serve their purpose. Might have been useful to have a carry case but i guess that is a bit unfair to ask for only 10 quid.

I must have smaller ears than I ever realised, because I just can’t keep these things in place! My daughter has no chance.

The sound is great and for long-haul flights – when you’re not moving! they are superb, both for the plane’s sound system & your own MP3.

I expected to be able to adjust the hooks, but you can’t.

I’ve given them to my husband & continue to look for something smaller.
