I am photographing 800 glass slides for the […] so I needed a simple low-cost tripod fixed to one spot for a long period of time, for consistant focusing. But it needed to have a flexible head adjustment. I couldn’t believe the price when I saw this, including the postage. It arrived within a couple of days and it’s brilliant. The tripod is very light, it’s flexible and it has a quick release base to remove the camera from the mount without unscrewing it which means it goes back in exactly the same position each time. I wouldn’t want to use it for serious outdoor videoing because it’s too light, but that’s not what it’s for. For my requirements, or for someone needing a steady camera whilst on the move (it even has a nylon bag with a shoulder strap), and not wanting to lug a few pounds of heavy steel around, this product is perfect.
