I needed a good birthday gift for my wife. She has a large digital SLR that produces perfect images but is too bulky for everyday use. The ES55 produces images comparable to her top spec SLR and fits easily into her handbag. She loves the gift and takes it everywhere. The ES55 has all the features she needs and a few extras, eg instant cropping etc. Tight close-ups are pretty good too – good enough for family photos etc. The Amazon product description was spot on. A great value little camera. I gave it to my 10 year old daughter for her birthday and find myself borrowing it! Easy to use and good battery life. Comes with usb charger and plug. recommended..

This Camera is just what I needed, it is small enough to put in my pocket and very light. It is also very easy to use, and as this is my first Digital Camera, this is very helpful. It is very easy to transfer the Pictures onto the computer as well. Would recommend this to my friends.

I bought this camera after reading the glowing reviews on here, but I had to admit to having doubts as to whether someone who has never used a digital camera before, let alone loaded pics onto a PC would ever master it.
Well, 2 HOURS after I received it I was emailing photos of my pets to various family and friends!
A compact, well designed camera with a slim book of simply explained, basic instructions and a disk which gives detailed information on how everything works.
Perfect for first time users, this really has all the features I think I will ever need in a digital camera.
AND it’s pink – I call it ‘Barbie-cam’. Thanks to the excellent reviewers here and thanks to Samsung!
