Nice small system suitable for typical semi-detached type house. Sound quality is fairly decent but seems to lack ability to reproduce low frequency at a higher volume.
If you’re looking for a system with a base that punches you in the chest and rattles the windows then look for something with a higher output cause this ain’t it. Music lovers with decent systems will know what i mean.
I hooked my new system up to my new Samsung LED UE37C5800-BL tv, popped in the latest Star Trek movie and was pleasantly surprised. I felt i wanted the system to perform a bit more though, there just seemed to be something lacking, again at a higher volume. Not distortion or anything like that, just something missing.
My biggest beef though is with the instructions. I’m certainly not the smartest bloke on the planet but, after 4 weeks am still trying to figure out some functions.
On the whole, it’s ok but dont expect too much.

Overall very pleased with the HT C453 system. It is basic in places (no virtual surround for stereo and a lack off easy access sound options) and cheap in places (screws don’t mesh well with the tallboy stand, one snapped off!), but it does produce a great sound. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 for the slightly iffy quality of screws/lugs on the tallboy stand and the lack of accessible sound options.
Good value for the money.

Very please with this cinema surround system although it take a while to set up especially for receiving cinema sound through the tv. Once set up though there has been no problems really pleased with purchase just what we wanted.
very pleased with the sounds but can not get it to play through samsung tv any idears ????? please help
