The picture quality is amazing and has loads of features. just as expected.

Some factors I think would help you making a decision are

1. This has internet tv, but you have buy a wi fi adapter separately.

2. you can connect to internet using a lan cable also, which i have done currently.

3. you can’t browse the internet on this ie it does not have a inbuilt browser……

4. But it has a set of widgets which pretty great, the useful ones are youtube, facebook, twitter, picasa and loveflim. It sure makes the extra cost worth it.

5. there are other widgets also ie some games and stuff they are pretty useless in my opinion.

6. more widgets are being added by samsung (I’m hoping so) as facebook was recently added (tv updates itself).

I’m waiting for the BBC iplayer widget

7. The usb movie feature is great. I’ve played various formats, I’m sure most people would be happy with it.

eg. mpeg, mp4, wmv, mkv, avi and a few more.

8. I haven’t tried the DLNA yet

9. the 100hz thing seems ok, it is not a WOW thing. But may be I’m missing something.

Hope these points help some one.

Excellent. Real cutting edge technology, the picture from the hyper-real engine is superb, the audio is excellent too. It’s also a beautiful and impressive thing to have in your living room.

Excellent LCD from Samsung. Great Value as is £799 from other retailers. Brilliant picture through SD & HD. PS3 looks awesome on it also. 100 times better than my 4 year old 32″ Samsung. Well chuffed

I must have spent months making my decision on what I wanted to replace my old Pansonic wide screen CRT. Every time I thought I had made my mind up the models changed, technology moved on .. it was all very difficult.

The new “c” series samsung LE37C650 just tipped it for me between the similar spec’d Sony and Pansonic and I am really very pleased.

There are a few comments here about buzzing capacitors – not on my set so perhaps it was an early production problem.

The picture is superb. I saw this set side by side with the equivalent LED set UE37C6530 and I would seriously challenge the extra money. There is very little difference between edge LED backlight and CCFL backlight, the claimed contrast ratio differences just do not seem to stack up – ask to see them side by side in store (and then buy online!!) and you will find it tough to differentiate.

The sound on this tv is very good. I use a 5.1 system on a lot of stuff but find the standard speakers are more than acceptable and quite surprising for such a narrow body.

The USB ports are excellent for playing MP3 and video, there is a port that will power a USB hard drive and it is easy to navigate through your folders to play music. Same ease with pictures and video. The internet connectivity is ok but not a major plus point to make a selection upon, the decision should always be visual quality and that is without a doubt stunning.

Very happy with this product.

Absolutely brilliant TV. Just spent the evening transfixed watching Eurovision – yes Eurovision! The pictures were that good I was just happy to continue to watch them. Although I’ve not yet tried the TV with a big movie, the sound seems absolutely fine to me. I’m not sure that I’ll ever use the rather gimicky internet widgets, but for pure television viewing pleasure, I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
