The reason I chose this product over all the others was because its a pack of 8, and very cheap! I thought that seeing as I’d had little luck with these products in the past I’d need plenty of chances to get the screen on neatly…

Before I fitted the screen i made sure that there was nothing on the screen and I followed the simple instructions given on the packaging. The screen went on easily, first time. No bubbles.

I’m very pleased with this product and I would definitely recommend it!!

I must admit that when I ordered these screen protectors I wasn’t expecting too much from them as the price was low. I couldn’t have been more wrong, they exceeded my expectations in every way. They are actually big enough to cover the whole front of the iPod, not just the display area so offer greater protection than some I’ve seen (there is a gap for the button. They aren’t thin, flimsy things so should last well – it should take me years to get through all twelve. They are don’t affect either the colour or clarity of the display and best of all, the first one attached first time with no air bubbles left after a slight smoothing over.

Installation hint – don’t use the provided card to smooth the protector on – use something wider like a credit card. Use this to press down on the protector from above while you peel away the bottom cover sheet, keeping the card moving at the same rate as you’re moving the cover sheet.

SCREEN/LCD SCRATCH PROTECTOR For Apple iPod Touch 2G – 2nd Generation (PACK OF 8) I have tried several different types of screen protector for the ipod Touch, all impossible to apply without air bubbles – except these! Brilliant! Great quality product. Definitely recommended.

This screen protectors are excellent quality at an excellent price.

I was initially worried that the protector might reduce the sensitivity of the touch screen, the brilliance of the display, or the appearance of the New Apple iPod touch 32GB (3rd Generation). The protector is thin, hard, very clear, and cut to fit perfectly. Once the protector is in place, it is virtually undetectable. There is no discernible difference in the screen or its sensitivity.

The instructions for applying the protector could be improved. For example, it was not clear that the protector itself had protective sheets on both sides. We were very glad that there were 12 in the pack, as we sacrificed the first one to the gods of learning.

I bought this because it was a pack of 12, and I’d had to bin the last screen protector I tried as I just couldn’t get the bubbles out. I was a bit concerned when it arrived, as the packaging only mentioned 2G iPods, but it does fit 3G as well.

The instructions were quite good – it’s a bit complicated because you have to remove one backing layer as you smooth on the protector, and then peel off the second protective layer from the top, but the instructions made it clear what to do. Despite cleaning the screen really well with the little cloth provided, I still managed to get a speck of dust which caused an immovable airbubble on the first attempt, but second attempt went on cleanly, and I’ve got 10 spares left. I found it easiest to take it into the bathroom (the least dusty room in our house!) as dust just seems to leap out of the air onto the iPod screen.

Once applied, you wouldn’t know the protector is there – it’s completely clear and there’s no noticeable difference to the responsiveness of the iPod.
